Female Quaggans
Do you even lift, bro?
Where do you get the young fem quaggans being pink from? Not seen that anywhere.
Coddler’s Cove.
They even have adorable little bows on their heads!
Do you even lift, bro?
@Zeefa: I’m sorry I don’t have a better screenshot; this was some time ago. But next to my feet at the left side, you can see a baby female quaggan
if you fall and die, they also come along and resurrect you if your party feels like they don’t want to :P This is at the Coddler’s Cove jumping puzzle. <3
Tarnished Coast
Firstly: awwwww!
Secondly: I suppose it might be some kind of hormonal thing, although you would think they would be more likely to be different coloured when mature enough to breed, so that they stood out. Maybe the pink colour fades as they mature. If we had models for it, perhaps older pre-adult female quaggan are kind of purple, or splotchy, as it grows out?
I’m not sure why it would benefit them to be different colours, but let’s just go with infant sexual dimorphism…dichromism?
It’s kind of odd that only Coddler’s Cove has pink baby quaggan. The other two hatcheries I know of don’t – then again, one of them have baby quaggans larger than the adult quaggans! wtf?
The pink could just be from Unending Ocean quaggan (aka “southern quaggan”) which when grown are either pale/gray or dark blue in color – whereas arctic ocean quaggan (aka “northern quaggan”) as adults are orca-like in color (back is black, belly is white). The pink could fade as they grow, turning pale/gray, while the blue darkens – and for the northern quaggan, they’re all born blue and grow so that their bellies lighten and their backs darken.
Stop treating GW2 as a single story. Each Season and expansion should be their own story.
Killer Whale Quaggan.
That’s a scary thought.

That pink you see? It’s just a sauce my charr put on them for marination. Nothing tastes as good as marinated quaggan babies. It’s a delicate, really.
Killer Whale Quaggan.

Champion Risen Quaggan always reminded me of rotten killer whales lol
~Surrender fiend and you will get an easy death
~I could promise you the same…but it would be a lie…

Ok, now I’m going to have to go look, because I coulda swore I’d seen the seafoamy green quaggans and the orca patterned quaggans in the same village- I’d parsed it out to quaggans with ornaments, and quaggans without. Hmmmm… (err, Hooooo….)
