Female to male Undead NPCs
They’re also mostly norn from what I’ve seen (it’s rare for one of the human, asura, or charr characters to turn into a risen in the later storyline).
But if anything, the game would be sexist towards male – the enemy factions are women haters (Sons, Flame), and there’s more important female figures than male overall (even more female members of the Six and Destiny’s Edge), and almost every main villain is male (Varesh being the main exception, and even then, she was only a half-way boss).

Yeah I noticed that too, quite a lot heroic NPCs are female. But that’s probably just so noticeable because usually the men to women ratio in works of fiction is around 3:1 (except if the target audience is women). I think that should be pointed out for once, as a positive.
Also I might add that men are the expandable gender. In works of fiction men die often more frequently and casually than women. Evening that out is a good thing too, imo. So this is really no sexism to either side, in fact I think the GW universe is one of the most equal in that regard.
Yeah like I said, this isn’t a sexism thread, just a curious note. I’d disagree that the game is sexist towards men. The Sons of Svanir and the Flame Legion have reasons for hating women, reasons that are justified in their eyes and to call the game sexist towards men because of that is unfair. What would be fair would be to call those factions sexist against women. I’d call the game accurate before I would sexist because it takes a far more realistic approach on society.
As for heroic NPCs, Destiny’s Edge used to be 3 males, 3 females, but Snaff died. Most main villains being male is again, a reflection of society because the majority of people in positions of power and those who lean towards short term gain tend to be male.
I was being rather sarcastic, though if you note, they do go overboard with the anti-female (and both hate women because of one in the past? lol that’s no different than hating all men because of Hitler).

True, however, those single women proved to be the undoing of their idol/reign. Svanir was the very first champion of Jormag in recent times, and pretty much the Jesus of their religion. The Flame Legion had oppressed women for centuries and one managed to rally the rest and helped the other legions take them down. I think the Flame legion finds females inferior rather than outright hate them (since, you know, they need to procreate somehow).
You’re mistaking the one that I referred to for Flame Legion. I didn’t mean Kalla. I meant the one female who acted out (and led an underground movement) against the Flame Legion: Balthea Havocbringer. Because of what Balthea did – refuse to bow down to the Titans – they killed her and banned all females ever from fighting on the battlefield.
Kalla came centuries later.

Oh true, it did seem rather extreme, but hey, religious fanaticism right?
