Being imbued with something doesn’t neccesarily make us immune to an outside source. E.G.: We as flesh and bone beings still get hurt from flesh and bone fists. So while flame legion may be partially empowered by fire, it may be limited to using it. Otherwise, they’d have no way to command a dominant rule over their own members. And we see that the more powerful members are more empowered by fire so there are definatly varying degrees of imbuement.

Meanwhile, destroyers are the embodiment of fire so while they are still susceptible to the impacts of flame attacks, there is really nothing on them to burn.

Destroyers are made of lava and stone, Flame Legion are still Charr made of flesh and lots of fur.

Can someone explain why are Flame Legion legionnaires are not immune to fire unlike Destroyers? Especially Fire Shamans who are imbued with flames are still susceptible to fire attacks. Thank you.

Well, most of the Charr in the Flame Legion are still just normal Charr.
They burn just as easily as any Iron Legion or Blood Legion Charr when put to the torch.

The reason why Fire Shamans are susceptible to fire are due to Gameplay reasons, because it would be harder to balance otherwise and make certain builds less viable.

setting a destroyer on fire is like trying to stop a volcano from erupting with a giant flamethrower.

setting a flame legion charr on fire is like using a flamethrower on a kitten with a blowtorch.
