so the sinister triad is bandits,nightmare court and inquest combined , a new alliance it seems , well i was able to peak over fort vandal and it seems like there is a portal behind it leading somewhere , also the fortress is full of lvl 80 champion bandits.

so what do you guys think about this?

I’m afraid the Sinister Triad have been around in Brisban Wildlands since release; they’re nothing new, they pre-date Scarlet and the LS.

The portal is certainly interesting, of course, in light of Ms Delaqua’s Seraph Sister mentioning that she’s headed out this direction.

yes im really excited what will happen , and if we get to see fort vandal and the other parts , and maybe maguuma wastes.

Always thought that was kinda funny. Scarlet made all these powerful alliances in-game, yet the one that has the potential to be the strongest as been around since the beginning. And, it was seemingly overlook through the whole debacle.

Inquest has the knowledge and tech.
Nightmare Court has the different magics at their disposal.
And the White Mantle Bandits has the political ties, manpower, and (possibly?) funding.

Dangerous when all those come together.

I foresee many a futile attempt to get past that barrier and the level 80’s…this will not end well.

yea i really hope that this castle will be involved in LS season 2 , if you look at the broken bridge where also is a portal to maguuma , and one inside the fort , i’d say those are two seperate new maguuma maps

I believe that is only local, don’t know what they’re cooking there but I don’t think it’s something wide spread.

If there weren’t for waypoints (that exist in lore) ruining the feel of distance and travel that place would be actually much cooler since it’s fairly far away from a major city.

Tons of people have wandered around in there via map breakout techniques. The portals have been there since launch, but they are not functional yet.

Some guilds even hold “raids” in there, where they take like 60 people and see if they can kill anything.

As stated, they are there to “guard” a portal leading to Maguuma Jungle, same with the portal past the broken bridge north of the map. The champions will be removed and the bridge will be rebuilt when our journey to fight Mordremoth begins

The north one may be Kryta instead – that direction leads to the region of Loamhurst and the Talmark, which in GW1 was the western extent of Kryta. According to the GuildMag interview last year, that region (unlike the south) is still Krytan and the devs had actually wanted to have that region open at release, but it was cut because it just wasn’t high enough on the priority list.

(This might also imply they might put in a portal from Queensdale – possibly on the western dam.)
