Hi, first of all, I have to apologize for my english I am not very keen in egnlish.
So I would like to tell you my ideas about the future issues with dragons and stuff and also to ask you what you think about that. First of all, do you think there would be one expansion for each dragon ?
So one for Zahitan(classic), one for Mordremoth, one for Primordus and so on ? Cause I get the feeling It is going to be like that. Do you think, we will ever get to see Elona or Cantha in some expansion in the future ?
I mean, we still know the order of the whispers has a way to communicate with elona, so this means there are actually living humans over there. But are they slaves and if yes, why doesnt Palawa Joko just kill him ? Are the events of Elona actually relevant for the future, since I heared Palawa had some issues with Kralkatorrik. So will be just be able to explore the crystal dessert in the future or Elona as well for killing Palawa probably, what do you think ? Do you also think there will be an expansion with Cantha, since their Leader is cruel ? He exiled the Luxon and Kurzick from Cantha, but in which location ? If theyre not in Cantha, they have to be somewhere else and there were actually so many of them. Did they just die out ?
So this was it all actually, its mainly about Elona/Cantha. Again, I am sorry for my English and my messed up writing, I hope somebody can share his thoughts with me !

Yeah, because making an expansion is just snapping the fingers and it is done.

You are also assuming that there will only be one thing focused per expansion.
They could easily go with Kralkatorrik and Elona together for example.

I’m guessing that you have no idea how to make a game.

I think we’ve had more than enough Sylvari lore (way too much). I think it’s time for some Charr lore! Show us the Ash and Blood legion homelands!

Asura lore would also be welcome. I’d be interested to find lost Asura cities in the Depths of Tyria.

Norn lore is a bit harder. Though I can see the basics for expanding general shiverpeaks lore concerning the history of the Norn, Kodan and Jotun.

I completely agree. I’d love to see another race get the spotlight for a bit. If the story revolves around the tree folk after HoT is finished, I’ll go nuts.

Agree with you there. An expansion that partially or wholly took place beneath the surface of Tyria would allow for some really neat set pieces and monster designs. There are also some pre-existing underground minor races to populate areas and a subterranean enemy in the Destroyers.

A focus on the Asura might also be a chance to finally discover what/where/when the Unclassified fractal was pulled from

Expansions wise I can see this happening.

Elder Dragon based ones like Heart of Thorns. Which may open up Cantha and Elona, no one says that the Dragons have to stick around in Tyria, Kralkatorrik as far as I know is hanging around the Crystal Desert, which leads to Elona.

There is also the old storyline in which I have in a quote from the GW2 wiki;

“Dragons were not always the main antagonists of Guild Wars 2. According to The Making of Guild Wars 2 book, original drafts for story included demons and angelic beings descending to the world to judge it.”

So they will probably go past the Elder Dragons, and as we have seen in GW1, storylines can be driven with smaller threats leading to a greater threat.
