I remember the dwarves turning to stone to fight off Primordius as foretold in their prophecy. I remember there was this ‘Great Dwarf’ who “created” the dwarves. Could dwarves actually had been dragon minions of Primodius, in the same way as Sylvari were the dragon minions of Mordremoth? Could the Great Dwarf be the same as The Pale Tree, a dragon champion rebelling against their master? I know dwarves where flesh before they turned to stone in the GW1 storyline, but what if they were actually made of stones in the very beginning, what if that was the gift of the Great Dwarf before he died, he gave dwarves freedom from Primordius, and the gift of life as well. Maybe one day, Sylvari could transform into flesh as well, and they could procreate as well one day.

The Dwarves were one of the races that survived the previous rise of the Elder Dragons thanks to Glint, so… no. If they were minions they would’ve been reclaimed the last time the Dragons rose, and you would think Glint would realise one of the races she protected isn’t an real race.

Unlike the sylvari, who were always of the same material as their dragon’s creations, dwarves were flesh and blood. When they became one with the Great Dwarf, while they turned to stone this was cold hard stone – different from the volcanic rock of Primordus’ destroyers.

Yeah, there was some older theories (pre-Sylvari Mordrem reveal) that the Sylvari because of their dragon corruption immunity were conceptually (or even more than simply conceptually) similar to the Dwarves (both were a sort of counter force to the EDs). But yeah that was before we knew Sylvari were dragon minions.
