Just what it says in the title.
If it is a lore cannon ability, doesn’t that outright imply that sylvari are connected to the Maguuma druids?
Am I missing something?

I would say that it would definitely confirm some kind of connection. We just don’t know the details….yet.

Huh, that is a compelling piece of data. Perhaps the Sylvari were liberated from the dragon through the magic of the druids?

But the druids were humans. Krytans, specifically.

Honestly, I think people overlook any plausibility this skill holds (while making it sensible) just to jump to the “sylvari are dragon minions!” hypothesis.

Whether they have any meaningful connections is still up in the air, since there hasn’t really be any info given on the matter.

I always just assumed, for my personal theory anyway, is that they hold a respect for one another, because they both share a deep connection to nature. Druids being one with it, and the Sylvari being a part of it. If a Sylvari would call out for help, a druid spirit would answer because of that respect.

It seems pretty certain that there is a connection. But it may not be an ED connection. perhaps it’s a god connection. More specifically, it may be a link with Melandru that allows sylvari to call upon the druids. or to call upon a specific group of druids. ………. Or to call upon the spirit of the druids that they used to be >.>

Early trailer that still had elven sylvari had Caithe doing thing to a druid. There’s also this heart. Perhaps devs meant to explore connection or it is something to look forward in next LS.

We don’t know that was a druid in the trailer, to be honest. It’s hard to differentiate between a treant and a druid, since they hold the same appearance. The difference is that druids were Krytan humans who became treant-like.

Sylvari have a connection to mosshearts as they often tame mosshearts to be their pack carriers. Interestingly, there’s also events around Pinesouls with sylvari trying to protect said Pinesouls.
