Humans on a Wyld Hunt?
Its probably just a bug with linking models with voices. I saw a sylvari with asuran dialog yesterday. Did the crusaders use human or sylvari voices?
What Luntinz said. Likely a bug, I have seen a few NPC having the voice and thus dialogue of a different race than they appear to be.
Actually as far as I remember, the dialogue sounded Human but I might be wrong (but I don’t distinctly recall an British accent) :/
Some NPC models are screwed up. Like in Ascalon Settlement there is a Sylvari talking about how his sister says centaurs are evil with a human accent.
There’s also the odd NPC that speaks in a male/female voice when their model is the opposite gender.

I thought those were just crossdressing bandits.
I thought a Wyld Hunt was where you dedicate your life into fighting the dragons. But Sylvari work better than humans cause they are not affected by corruption. They just die.
Wyld Hunts are more or less a calling a Sylvari experience. It does not necessarily have to be, “I’mma slay me a dragon!” The three choices for what your character recieves in your dream could be one.
However, the thread does pose an interesting question. Do humans have Wyld hunts? What makes them unique to Sylvari is that they have symbols of them during The Dream. I’m pretty certain races that are not sylvari are capable of having prophetic dreams at certain points, so…
shrugs I’m just overthinking things.
It might not be a bug, it could be a reference to the Wyld Hunt. What stops a human at poking fun? Also, the term became famous, sort of interchangeable with “calling, destiny, duty, ect.”

This is most definitely a bug.
Humans can’t be “called” to a Wyld Hunt, although they may accompany a sylvari who has been called to one, and so they may be said to be “on” or “part of” a Wyld Hunt, but this would be confusing to most, so we would never say that with NPC dialogue. A true Wyld Hunt comes to a sylvari from the Pale Tree, and can be many different things, but it requires the connection to the Dream that all sylvari possess.
Norn, on the other hand, simply have wild hunts, which just require a connection to beer. It’s much more inclusive.
And a man who trusts no one is a fool.
