I want a new book with the DE team .)
You should also get Ghosts of Ascalon, it is very entertaining and gives depth to the Human-Charr treaty as well as Ascalonian history in general. There’s a third book coming (Sea of Sorrows on June 23rd, if I recall correctly), centered on Cobiah Marriner. I doubt we will see another one with Destiny’s Edge on it, since the books were meant to explain what happened in the 250 years between GW1 and GW2, and now they can continue their story in-game.
I didn’t really see Edge of Destiny all that great as you make it out to be, personally, but to each their own. Like Eluveitie said, I doubt we’ll get another DE novel – Edge of Destiny was about their full interaction prior to GW2, except for some time skips, so if there is another novel on Destiny’s Edge, it’ll be during one of those time skips which is mostly spent preparing to take on dragon champions (not much plot there), or will be post GW2 personal storyline – which I think they’d rather save for the game itself, rather than a game.
Though they could make a novel on a specific character’s background before Edge of Destiny’s timeframe. For example, telling a story of Rytlock which led to his leading out with the Stone Warband that put him in that distanced position in Edge of Destiny’s beginning.
Stop treating GW2 as a single story. Each Season and expansion should be their own story.
