I was running around in Gendarran Field and noticed that the moon was rising from west.

So The sun and the moon in Tyria just rise from west to east or just in Gendarran field?

This is mechanical only. The moon and sun set in the same direction they rise. They don’t revolve but go up and down. Again, mechanics. It isn’t lore.
