Is Logan a demigod?
She did know where he was- Logan let her know they were leaving to take on Glint- but she didn’t know the situation he was in, nor that his departure was all that could stop Kralkatorrik from dying. As it was, Logan did in fact change the outcome at Ebonhawke- by freeing and arming the charr prisoners, and thereby tapping into manpower that no one else was willing to exploit. As for Jennah’s part, she likely wasn’t thinking at the time. She had just made direct contact with the mind of an Elder Dragon, and that’s enough to shake anyone. Her call to Logan was likely an act of panic, without forethought or planning.
Logan was a man who helped do what was previously impossible (or nearly so) – kill dragon champions. She called him because mere minions were assaulting.
And truth be told, Logan didn’t do much. Even after he freed prisoners to help in the fight, the forces were losing.
Rest is as Aaron said.
Stop treating GW2 as a single story. Each Season and expansion should be their own story.
Well, if your life is in danger, it’s normal to ask for any kind of additional help. Mostly if the guys is a legendary gladiator who is killing dragon champions in his freetime.
And if your loved one is in danger, doesn’t matter how much or how little you can help, you want to be there.
Also, Logan’s ancestorse founded Ebonhawke, so..

Ok, then Logan runs back because Jennah calls him. He doesn’t know the exact situation, only how Jennah described it to him (if she did). I won’t comment on the thing that from Jennah’s point of view it was like: “Hmmm, seems we have a massive slaughter here… Oh, I know, I’m gonna call Logan, maybe he will do something…. What brain? You tell me that he may be actually doing something more important while I want to send him into a suicide battle? Yup, pretty much brain.”
Then Logan arrives and finds out that charr prisoners don’t fight – one of the first things to do when situation seems to be that bad would be to free and arm the prisoners, I doubt that they would want to betray somebody at that point.
But it seems Logan was the only person with half of a brain to do that.
I can get that Jennah panicked because she touched ED’s mind, but come on – what kind of idiot was leading the defense of Ebonhawke?
And people say that Logan is a “failure”…

Giant branded creatures broke through the wall, what defences are you talking about?
Btw setting free a race that took your homeland and you’ve been in war with them for 1400 years and their only desire is to slaughter your people, without ever trying to negotiate with humans – yeah right perfect idea to set them free. If he couldn’t have proved that Rytlock trusts him i bet charrs wouldn’t have joined the fight to buy time for Jennah to cast the spell.
If the charrs die in the prison but Ebonhawke finally falls, their mission is accomplished. They are charrs, duty is #1. So they took high risks with setting them free.

Logan is Jennah’s pet. She calls him whenever she wants, and he comes.
She doesn’t need any reason.
hey let’s not forget that he actually solloed Champion Destroyer Harpy in less than 3 minutes with a hammer O_O
and yeah I agree with Gandarel – Ogres were difficult to fight enough when in normal state, but when got branded.. (started to ignore pain, stopped worry about something such tryvial like bleeding) it would be nearly impossible to keep them out for long – in case of any keep, that is not ready to cast good barrage from trebushets…. (and he wasn’t ready because that was a celebration and ceasefire with the charrs atm, and I’m not even sure, if Ebonawke have enough of trebs to achieve that….)
but…
30 elementalist if casted strong enough meteor shower lorewisely could achieve similar efect… unless the fact that according to the book Ebonhwake didn’t have so many elementalist at hand…
“-and on this occasion I keep mine plate armors”
discussion about offensive/deffensive playstyles
There was no ceasefire with the charr at that time, actually. And there were more guards and usual, even. The thing is… Kralkatorrik himself broke the walls with a few bolts of lightning – it wasn’t the branded who broke it, they just went through the opening their master created.

I didn’t read the book where DE confront Kralk (to be honest I didn’t read any book about GW)
To be honest the main problem is here.
You are trying to argue about something that you have no proper knowledge of. If I were you I would read the related novel first. If you still have questions about the situation after you read the book, it’s okay to start a discussion then. But at this point others are trying to sum things up. Of course it is confusing for you.
