During A Light in the Darkness, the Pale Tree responds to a question that we ask her very oddly. During this part of the Personal Story, the Pale Tree is allowing you to enter to Dream to learn more about Zhaitan. If you are playing a Sylvari, the question you ask her about the Dream is very specific to yourself:

Q: Is this like the time you sent Caithe into the Dream, before I awakened?
A: Remember, this is very difficult for me. Go swiftly, and learn all you can.

I find this response to be very odd. Do you think she is deflecting my question, or that ANet missed a piece of dialogue, here?

On a side note, I added this dialogue to the wiki as it wasn’t there, but I’m not sure that I formatted it correctly… If anyone could fix the formatting or confirm that it’s fine as-is, I’d appreciate it.

I… think she’s saying yes. I remember there being some comment in the early PS about her having a hard time sending Caithe in. It sounds like she’s referring back to that- kind of a ‘oh good, you remember, so you know this is a pain in my roots’.

I feel like if that is what she’s saying, the lack of the word “Yes” makes it a bit tough to follow. But, I guess that’s not technically a bug.

I think she’s saying yes as well. During the sylvari tutorial, Caithe says that the Pale Tree made her tangible only for a short time. So it would make sense that it’s taxing on the Pale Tree to do such. And like Aaron, I recall a comment about her having a hard time sending Caithe in.
