Just do it in Story Mode again, and not Explorable mode.

As you can see in the screenshot, there is no option to do storymode.
Although curious, if you do someone else’s storymode will you get achievement for killing zhaitan and pass this step in the personal story?

But, yes, if you join other group in SM it will count for the personal story.
