I was doing my map completition in Malchor’s Leap when I came across this Point of Interest that drew my attention. It’s located in a sort of “cave” and the PoI is called “Kitah Manse” and I remembered that there was a Mesmer Skill named after a NpC that was Kitah’s Burden.
Wiki says that Kitah lived 200 years before the events in Factions (1072) which means she died around 872 AE and the Cataclysm of Orr happened in 1071 AE. She might have died there, but i highly doubt so.
Just a little detail, give me your thoughts on this

there’s a story mission that takes place there, and of course, it involves mesmers.

If its the spot I think it is then it was a nobles estate. It could be that Kitah who the spell is named after was a orrian noble who lived there.

Yeah, I found that connection strange too.
But I kept telling myself, isn’t she Canthan? If I’m remembering correctly, she’s the mesmer boss in Tahnakai Temple, and the bosses there were powerful spirits/heroes of Cantha that Shiro was trying to corrupt. So it just seems weird that a heavily canthan person would be in orr

I’m not sure that the Kitah Manse is closely related to Kitah from GW1.

Kitah appears to be a family name in the mission at the manse. (You come across a Lord Kitah, seemingly title + surname.) Whereas the GW1 Mesmer seems to have just one name.

It may be that the change to Kitah being a surname came later – possibly Canthan Kitah is their ancestor? – but I don’t think the connection is direct.
