Kodan? Like Sylvari?
The only Kodan we have seen are advanced scouts that are bringing their ships in from the northern sea. It makes sense that they would have their children somewhere else that was much safer (not that many of those places exist in Frostgorge Sound). But most likely it’s the same situation as the Tengu, in that ArenaNet has not yet designed the models for Kodan children.
in the Snowden drifts, you will see a waypoint called the lost childs sorrow, here you can talk with a kodan female that tells you the story of how she lost her child
(ok, i think this is the waypoint, but im not sure, i do recall the conversation with this npc however)
Aren’t Kodan norns that stay in their animal form?Since norn came from Kodan.Maybe when kodan give birth they wait for their children to grow up and then they transform.

Thats what some researchers theorize. The kodan believe that the norn are close relatives
that lost touch with koda, and so can only take the form of a bear occasionally.
In Frostgorge Sound, the Kodan often mention how their children are the most vulnerable to Icebrood attacks, as the Icebrood burrow through the bottom of their sanctuaries. There’s also Sons of Svanir talking about how they plan to kill Kodan children after having murdered their parents.
As Embolism said, the kodan in Frostgorge Sound often make reference to how their children are most vulnerable to the outside world (I take this more as being easily influenced to “imbalance” rather than being physically in danger, personally) and as such are hidden away.
So they exist, but like female charr in GW1, or jotun women and children, they are kept off screen.
Stop treating GW2 as a single story. Each Season and expansion should be their own story.
