Hei guys! I would like to know, if anyone has happened to spot some monument, grave, or anything about Kranxx (Apart from dialogues) and Dylan Thackeray around in maps! Would really appreciate and visit the place(s) if there are any! Thanks in advance
Aaand, also if there was something out there about Vekk, Zinn and location of Blimm’s catacomb o.o Loved Static story linked to Gadd, would love to know if there is something about these other Asura too

They were forgotten just like the Great Koro Sagewind who actually ensured that Ebonhawke still stands to this day, along with Lawrence Crafton, Rigo Bolan, and Dian Fermati. I’m still aghast that they don’t have gravestones or memorials in the cemetery of Ebonhawke.

There’s very little on Zinn and Vekk, but Zinn’s research into souls (there’s an ascended item called Zinn’s Data Crystal) and his work (rather, tampering) with a seer, I’m sure we will learn more of what became of him in the future.

The entranced leading to the catacombs in Skull Plaza is closed off for now, so until an expansion or patch we won’t get to visit Blimm’s ransacked tomb.

And yeah. Tis a shame.

You can visit Dylan’s grave in Ebonhawke’s cementery, but that’s about it. It’s unsure wether Kranxx, is in fact, dead or survived and escaped somehow. Considering we don’t find the Golem’s Eye anywhere it could be also either lost somewhere in Ascalon Ruins, or Kranxx took it with him if he indeed survived.

That’s strange. Dylan’s and the fallen Seraphs’ funeral occurred in Divinity’s Reach.

That’s not Dylan’s grave in Ebonhawke. That’s Cordelius Thackeray, who lived from 1091-1106; likely one of Gwen and Keiran’s children.

Thal, the Skull Plaza shouldn’t be the only entrance to the catacombs, if I remember right. As they exited in the book they didn’t exit into the city, but onto the beach, likely behind the city onto what was once one of the “Giant’s Basins”.

You got that neatly mixed up. They exited the catacombs at Skull Gate, while it is not really detailed whether they entered there, too, or through the passages carved into the cliff Divinity’s Reach resides on – there’s a mention of the latter in the first few pages, but nothing conclusive.

Also, what do you think is more likely: that we enter through a pre-existing area, or via the tunnels that are on a beach that we cannot even glimpse in-game…

Well, honestly it may not even be added to the game until there is new territory opened anyways, so there is always the chance that it could be entered through a new territory or two located north of Divinity’s Reach. I agree that it’s likely, should they use it for Living Story, or something similar it would be through an already existing location, but if it becomes a new dungeon or something similar it seems more likely to be entered through a new explorable zone rather than a city. There is only 1 “dungeon” available inside of a city, and I don’t really consider fractals to be a true dungeon.

@Narc and Thal on catacombs entrances:

In GoA, iirc, it was said that they entered via Skull Gate (which is at Skuill Plaza) when the guard shifts were changing; and that’s where they exited too. There is, again iirc, mention of openings in the cliff to let the place air out, but it’s never said one can actually enter the catacombs here – for all we’re given from my memory, it’s just a few holes that lets out heat in the middle of the summer.

I apologize at being wrong in my original remark Thal. Somehow I had a vastly different view of how they entered than the book stated. I still believe though, like I stated earlier, that if the area becomes some type of dungeon of sorts, that it will most likely be entered from the possible explorable areas surrounding the city, and not from within the city itself.
