Guild Wars 2

Simply put, try to list any characters you find to be worthy of being called “Elite” or “Epic”. This could be in multiple ways, but this is also a good way to find all the important or may-possibly-be important characters(or groups) in the story that could pop up, or be mentioned, later on. To get some obvious ones out of the way:
-Destiny’s Edge
-Braham, Norn to-be Hero
-Roxx, Charr to-be elitist legionnaire
-Kiel, Lionguard Inspector of great skill and workaholic
-Kasmeer, Human noble with an air of importance about her
-Canach, Second-Born Sylvari with great skill in guerrilla warfare
-Consortium, greedy idiots

There is off course a difference in importance between Caithe and Alainn (both silvari, I forgive you if you dont know the second one). But importance is ever changing. a month a go people would rate Captain Magnus the Bloody-Handed as low-importance. But now he had an important cameo in the end instance of secrets of southsun cove and also he is important in the dragon bash festival, his starwill rise. This can easily decline if he is moved back to Crow’s Nest Tavern and isn’t used for months after the dragon bash.

Who is more important? John lennon or Justin Bieber?? I personally would say John. But I know a good amount of hysterical teenage girls that totally disagree with me.

Said teenage girls would be catastrophically wrong. John Lennon has a traceable impact on the history of music. Justin Bieber is pretty much like a password journal. Small girls may love him, but he’s extremely unimportant. Pretty sure My Little Pony is more important than Justin Bieber..

But I agree, a list seems a little pointless. Characters who were once important to the storyline may no longer be important, you only have to look at the personal story to know this. We meet ‘important’ characters at the beginning and middle of our personal stories, quite frequently who we met at the beginning has very little impact later on in the story, and the person we meet in the middle dies -_-.

Trahearne and the Pact are unlikely to be in the living story since this will reveal the personal story to players who have not yet done it. The individual orders and their main characters will be in the living story since it doesn’t reveal any personal story and these people are permanently visible in the open world already.
