Am I missing something? As far as I know, Glint didn’t move the Scepter of Orr, she wasn’t even physically present.

Ahem…

Yes, the staff disappears, but again, Glint wasn’t physically present, and the staff disappears after vision of Glint leaves the scene. Glint makes no mention of the Scepter, nor does she show any interest in it. I don’t think the staff disappearing has any kind of solid indication towards it being moved by Glint, especially when we consider how A. It moved from Orr to Majesty’s Rest when Orr was destroyed, and B., how the Staff of the Mists could only be destroyed in a specific place.

To me, it seems much more likely that the staves had an enchantment on them that makes them warp to a relatively safe place if they are about to be destroyed (other than in a specific place).

Only fools and heroes charge in without a plan.

Livia could be Scarlet.

That certainly is a possibility, Tuormir. Though its movement was likely due to a survivor of Orr IMO, as it was placed inside a tomb. That, or the rumors of it being seen in Orr last before the Cataclysm wasn’t a “recent” sighting – since the quest chain with the Staff of the Mists mentions the two scepters being placed within the tombs of leaders that wielded them (and Majesty’s Rest is a burial place of Krytan monarchs – well, the main mausoleum is at least; the one where the Scepter was found is unclear).

Dear ANet writers,
Stop treating GW2 as a single story. Each Season and expansion should be their own story.
