Guild Wars 2

I have an idea guys, and it may seem crazy, but it’s something I really want to do. I want to write community based lore.

My Introduction:
So I’m relatively new to Guild Wars 2. I’m just your average joe that likes playing video games. I love the gameplay. But more important than anything else, I love the community in Guild Wars 2.
I’ll be kitten ed if I don’t think that I’m privileged to be in such a community. That’s something that makes Guild Wars 2 so valuable and well-worth it’s price of admission if not three-times over its price model.
Now saying that, there’s something I do want to achieve with this game. I’m wondering if people would like to sponsor me on this. Give an opinion. Shut it down. Tell me I’m stupid. I’m fine with that! I just want to try this out.
Now exactly what is it that I want to do?

I want to write a person’s lore.
I love people’s stories. If you’re truly a gamer, I’d like to get to know you. Tell me something about yourself that made you a gamer and love gaming.
There are some really touching stories about gamers these days in which gaming saved their lives and defines who they are. I think that’s beautiful.
I’d like to skype you and we’ll talk to each other. Sure, in the beginning it’ll be awkward, but I can make it ease its way through. If you love guild wars 2 or some other game in a way that really hits home, then talk to me about it. I’ve played so many games that I can probably relate in a similar way.
After that, I’ll write guild wars 2 themed lore. And it won’t be just any story, it’ll be YOUR story. So if you love guild wars 2 more than any other game, I’ll write your life as if you actually were a character in guild wars 2.
If my story really hits home to you and if you feel it resonates with you, then I’ve done my job. I hope you were satisfied with what I did. I’ll write these stories for FREE, but I would appreciate people to donate in-game GW2 gold or cool items to me if I do write their story so I can write my own story of being obscenely rich (haha :P) and then post it here. I know I would love doing this because I love GW2’s community and that’s something that’s worth doing, even it is for free. I will post these stories on the lore forums in topic/replies sections, or as files you can see.

Writing your own story, is a journey in itself, Ive started mine and its been a kind of reflection of what Ive learned from others, the moments we’ve shared. even if you think you cant write i encourage you to try. My guiding light showed me a lot, the biggest thing was never being afraid to try, you might surprise yourself.
