Noticed no one brought it up here, so here I am doing all ya’lls job. :P

Tried adding it under a spoiler tag but too lengthy. Anyways, this seems to be written from a pre-E5 reveal notion, but a few interesting bits.

Dear ANet writers,
Stop treating GW2 as a single story. Each Season and expansion should be their own story.

As always: lame, dodgy answers with no real info content. Though I may actually be glad that they haven’t given out anything concrete. Because when they do, dung blows up and GW1 lore and rationality are further desecrated.

Scarlet’s Alliance Wars (a.k.a. “Guild Wars 2”)
A fantasy of sci-fi cyborg implants grafted into the desiccated flesh of Guild Wars’ corpse.

They weren’t really dodging questions, just leaving us some surprises. They obviously can’t answer questions asking about what is coming in the next episodes.

I would argue some is dodging. The Aerin question for one – if he was corrupted, by now – even by E4 – such should have no issue being told. So why the whole “the truth is still unknown” on that?

To keep us guessing.
It is something that totaly annoys me since Season 1.

Just have us run around in circles, chasing a mystery that just isn`t there, while the real mystery that could be chased is being burried.

I won`t say they never step in and rectify what we are guessing about, but sometimes i would love that they just said what is going on.

It probably has something to do with that slip up during episode 2. You know that one where our character automatically knew who the Elder Dragon was by name. Without any context where he/she got it from. Plus Taimi was still asking about questions about Aerin in this last episode. However I have to ask was Scarlet ever really linked to being directly influenced by Mordremoth? I don’t believe that I can remember one myself.

Anyhow it’s either because Arena Net does not want to repeat a past mistake. On assumption that we understand their needlessly excessive ambiguous narrative arch (has not really been that bad this season). Where we call them out for it. Or there is going to be a big betrayal/surprise that solidifies this question. Either way it seems that it will be answered before this season wraps up in game. At least I hope it does.

This is really nicely done, good work by the guys at guildMag and the writers. Its nice that they can give some information on stuff to fill in some blanks, but I appreciate some of the answers are “dodgy.” Of course, people into the lore want them to answer “so what is the whole story here,” and they did a good job of giving information without spoiling the future story.

Its a great thing when people get into the story/lore enough that there are complaints that there isn’t enough information!
