Master of Peace mentions Melandru
In Episode 1 (Cornered), you can use the crystals during the last fight and reach the Master of Peace on the ledge. If you interact with him, he says something like “May Melandru guide you” (something like that).
This seemed a little strange/specific to me. Do you think this has any significance for the future? Why Melandru over any other god (why mention a god at all)?

Unless it was in a conversation box with a particular response, it is a generic human response. Considering you’re not really meant to go up and talk to the Minister during the battle, it’s just a slight oversight.
All NPCs are just programmed with basic dialogue that varies depending on their race. A lot of the time its totally random and inappropriate for the given situation and place, but its just so the NPCs aren’t static and lifeless.
it’s one of the generic human lines. heck, it probably isn’t even the same VA as the master of peace (try “greeting” the asuras on the waypoint conundrum mission and you’ll see what i mean).
even if it was intentional, he’s human. nothing weird about that.
