Guild Wars 2

I know that there was an interview with game developers, but I cannot find it.

Can character ( Warior ) learn to cast elementalist or messmer spells? Can there be a multiple class characters arround Tyria? Or it is just that you have got natural gift to use one “school” of magic and you need to wipe out all your knowledge to learn new one from the basics?

I believe it was the interview with Angel (need confirmation since it’s been awhile) you were talking about. She compared it to something akin to getting a degree in the subject in college. It’s possibly through a lot of hard work and study to get the second one, but most people usually just stick with what they know and do best.

In theory yes (see gw1, there we could chose a secondary profession). In praxis however it is really rare, since apperently learning a profession takes alot of practise, time, talent etc. Hence it is normally better to try to focus on one thing.

Yest it was something like this one with getting a degree in something.
