First off, I really enjoyed playing through the this last patch. Just wanted to say that so people know I am not just complaining to complain.

My questions is weren’t we supposed to find out who Mr.E was by end of Season 2? Did I miss it in a different patch, or was this just never said and I imagined it.

I too thought we were supposed to find out who E was, bur apperently we didn’t. A real shame though. One and a half year is a long time to wait for a revelation and if it isn’t there still I can’t be annything else than disappointed.

Maybe it will be told in an epilogue patch or at the start of the x-pack

Mr. E is a fun character, he’s not really super important or anything, I personally enjoy the fact we don’t know who it is, he/she is designed to be a mystery! I don’t think we’ve had enough interactions with them to spoil the surprise yet, it would take the fun away.

Also, don’t drop the t! That gets you misery! That’s probably why nobody enjoys it.

Whoever E is, it’s someone who is very knowledgable about human politics, dragons, etc. That means either a human (in which case it’s probably a well-preserved Evennia or Edair), or someone with an antipathy for the Mursaat (and thus the White Mantle), like a Seer or maybe Glint’s offspring.

To the extent there’s any backing (including purely literary stuff) for any of those options:
Edair could be foreshadowed by the Concordia subplot about the locket. If he never died, maybe it would impact the line of succession? I have no idea about Krytan succession laws, though.

If the figure in the PAX trailer was a Seer, it could indicate that one still exists, in which case it may want to use the human civil war as a proxy to continue the Seer/Mursaat war.

If it’s Glint’s offspring, then there is more narrative sync between Destiny’s Edge and DE2.

With our luck, it will turn out to be Ellen Kiel, though.

I have a feeling that Mister E is the same person who gave the Master of Peace the egg.
