When Im dressing my characters im always kinda trying to fit it with the class theme. I was thinking about nevermore, could it lore wise fit a necromancer theme? From a visual pov I may not like the bright blue when unsheated, but I guess I could live with it (and the scythe graphic that comes from the top when using skills paired with blue raven spirit).

Ravens are considered psychopomps in some cultures – guides who lead the newly deceased into the afterlife. That would certainly fit with a necromancer.

I LOVE Nevermore for Necros (though my Reaper won’t be wielding it anytime soon – too pricey for someone who’s only had the game for 4 months and the expansion for a month!). Around the world, ravens are seen as “bad omen” birds; as psychopomps as Stitch mentioned; and even as tricksters. Completely fits, as long as you can find dyes and armor to match :P

Norn take on a very norse approach to the raven, and the Raven Spirit itself represents wisdom, trickery, cunning, and is related to the afterlife. The Raven Havroun currently is a necromancer, to boot.

So yes, Nevermore fits necromancers. Would fit a norn necromancer/mesmer the most.

First of all, yes ravens go with the necro style, specially if your necro is a norn

I had the same problem, I didn’t want to craft nevermore for being so blue, even when I love ravens and poe, but them I’ve reconsidered the whole thing, the blue raven really doesn’t look bad and this blue goes with everything

And looks the dark scythe on nevermore, It can’t be cooler

Just finished nevermore after some intense hunting^^
