WoodenPotatoes does an excellent job of talking about the world and the events from Guild Wars: Prophecies (The First GW1 Campaign). He started working on the second campaign; Factions but never finished (and won’t be finishing) it.

WP does loads more lore videos scattered through out his channel more informally but these videos should give you a nice overview of the world you’ll be playing in.

I have done three in depth videos on Guild Wars 2 lore specifically Scarlet Briar, Zhaitan and Destiny’s Edge. I will continue to expand this archive and I am thinking of either making a basic lore video for new players or start another series on prominent GW2 weapons in the game such as Sohothin and Maegdar
