During a raid on Foulbear Kraal this evening, my eye was caught by some fairly intricate artwork on the rocks surrounding the ogre camp. I took a couple of screenies since I hadn’t noticed these before; however it’s possible I’ve just not noticed them previously. Have they always been there? Also, if they are new…what do you all make of them?

Long story short- yes. That particular screenshot looks too abstract to nail down a subject matter, but ogre art and architecture likes to portray beast-like faces, so I suppose it’s possible those might be a pair of highly stylized mandibles.

I took that screenie and another on the fly, the group was moving pretty fast.

But you’re right, this morning I found a YouTube video someone made of the event and saw the artwork in the background. Odd that I’ve never noticed it before.

I got all excited last night and thought I’d found a clue of some sort. Oh well.

It’s still pretty cool. I did pretty much the exact same thing when I completed the meta for the first time ever a month ago and then took a bit to wander around. It’s a pity it’s so unpopular.

Huh, intricate white-painted circles associated with a giant race…it’s not exactly the same, but it’s also not too dissimilar to the body art associated with giants.
