Now back to MothBaws, when he corrupted the tree, he put a little bit on every one of its offSPRING. Not enough to be felt of noticed, but enough to be turned on at the right time.

Now MoreGoth, while awake is after the tree, perhaps already there. Hanging on to its roots, twisting and corrupting them into vines and thorns, and sending them out into the world. Now that he is active, they are coming out, and doing Puppy….see what I did there?

Perhaps the corrupted parts feel unused, or unnoticed like the Sylvari corruption.
Perhaps she just thinks they are dead vines, or she is distracted, or she just feels like her roots are stretching to the feelings of magic in the earth. Let’s fave it, she must be some type of magic sponge to create sentient life from plant.
Or maybe she is just a giant kittening tree and can’t do anything about it, no matter what her avatar looks like or says, she is still at her heart a big Tree.

She made a race that can hold its own against every race seen so far, and just one almost destroyed everything, I think her roots can be as long as invasive as they want.

(As you can tell this is mostly joke, but at the same time a poorly thought out theory, so when you tell me I’m wrong(don’t hesitate! I like learning lore) and I know you will, just kinda keep that comical thought on mind)
