I love the ones in the order of whispers, you find them out and about if you’re in the order and they’re clumsy and adorable. They can still keep secrets but it’s pretty easy to figure them out.

There’s someone on GW2 Guru forums that actually does make and occassionally sell Quaggan plushies. FYI. (It’s a thread called “Quaggan Plushies” in the Library of Whisper sub-forum.)

I have spent like forty silver on buying the baby quaggan tonics from the quaggan in the straits of devastation. I love quaggan. They are so cute andkittenwhile also being horrifying when they rage.

FLAIL Vax has been mocking me because I absolutely have to talk to ALL THE QUAGGANS! The one that was too shy to see if I taste like hero cracked me up. And they sing !

One of our guildies took lots of screens to plot out a plushie. I’m thinking of hitting up my knitting friends. Snuggly quaggans must exist! (Is there a Quaggan Appreciation Guild yet? Cause if not, I’m totally doing it, just so we can say we’re members. )

I feel ANET did an extraordinary job at presenting the Quaggan with a mix of comedy and cuteness which really makes you love them.

However, at the same time, they have the opportunity to be INCREDIBLY baddass! I wont spoil too much, but you will see what I mean in the personal story if you choose to seek the aid of the Quaggan rather than staying at the village.

There is also another quest which is particularly disturbing involving the Quaggan in the same Racial Sympathy arc, but I wont spoil that either. But the music combined with the dialogue was INCREDIBLY well in that scene, and I actually felt impacted by it!

Overall I really must say that ANET did an outstanding job with the Quaggan. Because they are so loveable, you REALLY feel bad about their situation!

On a slightly related note, I really hope that if ANET creates more Guild Wars 2 merchandise, that they make a Quaggan plushy!

Quaggans plushies would only make sense if you could press a button and hear them saying Ooooh. Tickle me Quaggan.

Last night I was at WvW and some Quaggans were helping the other server defending a fort. I was all like “stupid people, pushing this creatures to fight for them”. You should lose Karma everytime you kill a Quaggan.

Quaggan used to annoy me in the Beta but they have grown on me. I like to watch them swim around now, poor guys kicked out of the ocean by the dragon and those cranky Krait.

Why do they talk like Hanar though?

Hanar never refer to themselves in the first person.
They often refer to themselves as “this one”, similar to named Quaggan saying that instead of their actual name.

And they’re not belugas, they’re sirenians, most likely manatees.

It was an accident, I didn’t want to, didn’t expect that to happen T_T-.

One thing I particularly love about quaggan is how they can be so brave while claiming they’re about to pass out with terror. Frex, there’s an escort event in Sparkfly Fen where you have to get two quaggan with an important delivery to a hylek encampment. The quaggan keep saying that they can’t take much more of this (“this” being the continual attacks from unfriendly fish, krait and Risen) but they keep soldiering along and keep pushing to make their delivery. Or there’s this personal-story chapter where you have to escort a quaggan pastkeeper and his assistant to retrieve certain magical items. The pastkeeper stands at his post when you get to your destination and keeps performing his rite, no matter the fury of the attacks of wave upon wave of enemies. (Same for the other pastkeeper in Gendarran Fields under attack from the pirates.) Quaggans talk a lot about being cowards, but they’re really butterball kittenes.

There’s one quest where you have to protect the quaggan eggs while they hatch and omg… the babby quaggans.. too bad i didnt get a screenie.

I kid you not i was cruzing around near HoW and a Queggan was crying for help. I stopped what i was doing because it sounded too heartbreaking to ignore. When other NPCs cry for help i simply say to myself “Eh your a Char im sure you can handle it.”

You should see them in the last mission. Anyway:
As a Sylvari I visited the Human home instance and the quaggan I saved were there with their young, I guess they should be in every home instance but I haven't checked mine yet.

I would buy a Quaggan faster than they can rage if they went on sale.

I hope they become playable.

They are so adorable. My partner and I love them to bits. I can never resist helping them if I pass by a dynamic event involving them. xD

My partner actually created a bank guild called ‘Protectors of the Quaggans.’ ^^ I really hope they do release some plushies some day as we’ll both want 1.

Why is there not a Mini (or two or three) of an UNCORRUPTED Quaggan, is what I want to know! I’m sad that my only option for a pet Quaggan is to have a creepy evil one. =P

I love how they were named Poobag to begin with.

I quote the book: The joke Coberly referred to was a creation Kotaki dubbed the Poobag. Kotaki explains, ''I drew this cute little thing and called it Poobag because that's all it was good for. We couldn't get the Poobags into the game because they were so stupid, so we changed them into the quaggan you encounter in the game.''

It’s sad that Kotaki have left ArenaNet, but you must go on.
