Not real life legend, but based on the mythology of Thor’s hammer

Not a legendary weapon, you mean. :P
Kamohoali’i is part of real mythology, and I think that’s why Ryouz was asking.
Though Chuka and Champawat and Nevermore don’t have mythological ties like Kamohoali’i, they do have historical reference.
And The Flameseeker Prophecies is an obvious nod to GW1.

Aye, but they didn’t state legendary weapon, just weapon. I assumed they were looking for any weapon which had an inspiration that was a legend
The Crossing is a staff based on the myth of Charon, the Boatman to the Underworld

True, true. My bad. Then the list gets rather huge, doesn’kitten
Like the skull focus Adam is a reference to the GW1 character Eve who had a skull named Adam which in turn is a reference to the biblical Adam and Eve.

That’s one thing I miss from old RPGs, flavor text.
When something was legendary, the item had the story about it in the flavor text (a lot of old Bioware games in particular), which made things fun imo, a lot more immersion.
Yeah, I remember Chrono Cross and Final Fantasy Tactics had those and more often than not, they hinted at a much interesting story than the one actually presented in-game.
Thanks for the info guys. Ill keep a look out for more lore behind weapons, it doesnt have to be based off real life legends but I was curious to see if there where more.
