Remembering Scarlet's War, GW1 map?

I was re-watching on another character and noticed this. As is evident by the appearance of burnt Ascalon, this is the GW1 map, given this is a special cut scene I can’t imagine that’s an oversight, anyone heard anything about it?

It was brought up to devs. It has to be an oversight, tbh. Wouldn’t make sense for it not to be.

Dear ANet writers,
Stop treating GW2 as a single story. Each Season and expansion should be their own story.

Reminds me of how I prefer the GW1 world map to the Gw2 world map. Gw1 lets you get a rough feel for the terrain and rivers/lakes. Gw2 map… doesn’t.
