I have a little question. I want to play revenant/bard so I am looking for a n artist or bard legend from GW1 or GW2 … can you help me with this? I want to create my own RP character… and I need help with this. I never play GW1, can you give me any ideas for an Artist legend?

I also have not played GW1 enough to know the lore very well, but Malchor does spring to mind. (And also springs off cliffs). He was a sculptor, though, not a singer or musician.

https://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Norgu

“Norgu is a classically trained actor, a visionary unappreciated in his own time, and a large, dramatic, boisterous glad-hander. As the leader of the Lyssan Fools acting troupe, he is currently on an extended tour of the estates of Vabbian nobles. Everywhere he travels, he leaves a memorable impression. Few will forget his insightfully accurate and delightfully humorous parody of General Bayel in Gandakittenrformance that should keep him on an extended tour for quite some time. Norgu claims to have traveled throughout Tyria and Cantha, returning with stories of a standing-room-only performance in the court of Emperor Kisu and a standing ovation at the Henge of Denravi. Moving quickly from one region to the next, he uses his sunny disposition and personal charisma to get last-minute invites to parties, audiences with the rich and powerful, and of course, free food. Norgu never met a buffet he didn’t like.”

He was an amusing mesmer hero you could have in your team. Might fit the bill.

I agree with Randulf, Norgu is the most direct Bard.
There’s also Anja of the Luxons. And the Royal Bard if you want to be an evil type.

Veth and Skaald are two Norn ‘bards’

A lot of mesmer heroes and henchmen were actors, but there seems to be a high bar to making enough of an impact on the Mists to become a revenant legend, which I don’t think any of those NPCs would reach. Becoming a legend seems to require having a significant influence on history, at least from the perspective of a given culture. Norgu’s influence, for instance, would largely be subsumed by more important figures he fought beside or against (Abaddon, represented by Mallyx; Palawa Joko; Kormir; the Nightfall PC)… and besides, he wasn’t very good as an actor.

Saint Melodie of House Lutgardis might be the best bet. What exactly she did is unclear, but it’s probably reasonable to presume that she pioneered the tree singing techniques used by House Lutgardis to create Juggernauts and slowly return life to the forest, which might represent enough of a transformative effect on Kurzick society to warrant revenant legend status. The powers she’d grant would probably be similar in theme to Ventari, albeit operating through the medium of music and song rather than through a tablet, and she might also have a greater ability to influence plant life and rouse it to fight on the revenants’s behalf through music. She’s probably a legend we’ll never see introduced (partially because she probably would be too close to Ventari, and partially because whatever importance she might have to the Kurzicks or the Canthans generally, from the perspective of the player base she’s fairly obscure) – but from an RP perspective, that might be a good thing, as you have a blank slate that’s unlikely to be overwritten by canon.

To those who think Scarlet hate means she’s succeeded as a villain:
People don’t hate Scarlet like Game of Thrones fans hate Joffrey.
They hate her the way Star Wars fans hate Jar Jar Binks.
