I don’t think Anet is trying to make her sound cute. I think it’s more her superiority complex kicking in, when she’s defeated, she acts like the player character is really nothing big and taunts him/her. Or maybe she really doesn’t feel threatened at all.

The bad part is that the alt that I’m leveling right now has not done ANY of the Scarlet invasions or Funhouses or whatever… and still got a bomb-gift.

….I hate raving lunatics with plotholes.

On Gendarran fields she tracked me specifically, in the middle of nowhere (it was an alt without the map explored so I had to swim/run alot).

One time she appeared under water, we where both alone… And she stomped me to the ground in 1 second then disappeared.

The second time I was running across this nice meadow, alone again because I didnt have a waypoint… And I hear a silly laugh behind me followed by prompt death.

The third time the final event is 99% done, I go away from the huge zerg to get out of combat and bring up the map. A wild Scarlet has appeared! On the other side of the map! kitten that’s going to be a long run. Oh wait, she’s moving. Closer. Closer. Clooooooooooser… Oh she’s going to appear in the middle of the zerg next to me?! Bring the map down. She’s on top of me and sends me flying.
