I posted something in reddit the other day looking for lore help with something I saw.

Okay so last night I logged off after getting the final skill point in the Harathi Hinterlands in the Wildspine Hills. When I came back this morning there were 3 dead dolyaks strewn about. Not sure if there were there when I left (It is called Dolyaks Rest skillpoint and all), but moving on. One of them had a resurrect icon, so I started to raise it… free xp and all that. Before I could finish, the spirit of the dolyak appeared and it’s corpse vanished.
The spirit started moving east from the skill point so I figured why not, and started to follow it. Eventually we came to a cave entrance with some bandit ghosts guarding it. There was also an interactive sign post that says something along the lines of trespassers will be shot. As the dolyak got closer the bandits got scared, they were saying things like here it comes and whatnot. They then took a knee as the dolyak passed… allowing me to beat the loot out of them. There were 3 sets of 2 bandit ghosts… all acting the same way towards the dolyak.
Inside the cave was a small waterfall but it was essentially a dead end. While I was looking for a jumping puzzle or some secret, the dolyak disappeared and a mob named Veteran “Slick” Ricki appeared… gave me some sort of warning and attacked. Ricki got the best of me, but I did manage to kill the ghost while downed… normal loot.
Looking around the cave further, there are some abandoned supplies that say they’re covered with dust, some dusty bones right where Ricki spawns, I assume they are her bones, and a journal that starts off with lines about keeping bandits in line, then moves towards talking about the great white beast.
What did I witness? Who is “Slick” Ricki? What is special about this one Dolyak? Help?
EDIT: Waiting for it to happen again, I saw the Old Dolyak come to the rest to pretty much die… he limps in, stands a short amount of time, then dies. You can resurrect him, but the spirit still appears and the Old Dolyak still disappears setting the chain of events into play.
