Q:
Sohothin Question[EoD Spoilers]
A:
Agree with Narcemus; it’s a typically norn approach, to say that only a strong-willed and heroic person will be able to overcome Jormag’s power. The charr might have spent their years working on new weapons to destroy it, the asura on analysing its magical properties…etc.
Sohothin might have some effect on it, especially with the fire vs. ice effect! But who knows? I expect it’s not as simple as ‘use Sohothin, and we win’; plus, the idea is that anyone who can damage the Tooth has the potential to beat Jormag himself, and I’m not sure Rytlock is quite that awesome in himself.
Doesn’t it have nothing to do with the weapon but with the wielder?
But yeah, it’s probable that legendary weapons like Caladbolg and the fiery dragon swords could damage it.
Well, the Norn believe that it can only be damaged by a person who will lead them to destroy the dragon. But that doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s the person, it could just be a Norn tale and nothing more.
first, you’re on the lore forum. no need for spoiler tags lol. everyone who’s here is assumed to have read the books and beaten the game (or not care about being spoiled).
second, it’s a possibility, but it may not work either. after all, supposedly the fang has prophetic (sp?) powers, so maybe it’s not about the weapon, but the wielder.

never doubt Rytlock’s awesomeness.
