Soundless and the Wyld Hunt
Hmm. Good question. I would think that connecting back to the Dream and all the “voices” would be akin to plugging back in. So I would think it would come back. Now whether they situation allowed for the completion or a feeling of failure would be another matter.
Don’t think I’ve seen any mention of it, but given how isolated Soundless are, it’s unlikely to me that they receive Wyld Hunts. Now, if they lose the compulsion… that’s just too hard to say. I would argue yes, but there’s no real evidence to support or remove it. Also, while the compulsion that’s described “like a constant itching on the back of your neck” (worded to the best of my memory of original statement) would likely be gone, you’d still know what your Wyld Hunt is (or at least, you’d know what you knew of your Wyld Hunt). So by pure memory you may feel pushed into completing it.
Stop treating GW2 as a single story. Each Season and expansion should be their own story.
I would imagine you would not have the urge to complete it, you’d still know it and all that but it’d be like having a goal you were told to complete before you quit your job. I mean sure, you could still go and complete it if you really wanted to, but they’re not really obligated to anymore and aren’t being pestered by the tree until it’s done anymore.
I’d imagine if they reconnected (don’t see why they couldn’t) that they’d get that “itch” that they’re said to have to complete it.

Is Scarlet a soundless?
Is Scarlet a soundless?
We don’t know for sure, she likely is after she became scarlet and stopped being Caera though.

There was a TowerTalk interview a while back, I don’t remember the exact date, where it was said that Scarlet is not part of the Soundless community or philosophy (cutting themselves off trying to escape the suffocating empathic noise), but still managed to distance or partially remove herself from the Dream… though if I recall correctly she hadn’t had total success. I’ll go back and find it and edit in the specifics.
EDIT: Scott McGough:“Scarlet has walled herself off from the Pale Tree to a certain extent, so there isn’t the kind of direct give-and-take that most sylvari have. It remains to be seen how much of Scarlet’s memories, and how much of Scarlet’s experience, how much of Scarlet’s knowledge will be transferred into the pool that sylvari draw from when they’re born. But at the moment, Scarlet’s thoughts are her own, and she’s keeping them to herself. It remains to be seen if she can keep doing that.” He also mentioned a potential future plotline involving what will happen once a sapling is awakened with some of Scarlet’s memories. But I digress.

She’s a Soundless by the definition of “a sylvari not tied to the Dream of Dreams” but she’s only that. And by the interview Aaron mentioned, it seems to be unintentional – that she was forced to be disconnected, rather than it being an intentional action on her part done via meditation (which I prefer, as it’s hard to see someone like Scarlet meditate).

ADD seems to be her one actual character trait.
From the quote and what we know of her background, actually, I’d suspect it was intentional – but as you say, I suspect it’s a very different method to that used by the Soundless. My money would be on her having found or adapted a technomagical solution she picked up from her studies – perhaps even an evolution of the sensory deprivation apparatus that switched her from Caera to Scarlet in the first place.
People don’t hate Scarlet like Game of Thrones fans hate Joffrey.
They hate her the way Star Wars fans hate Jar Jar Binks.
