And Caithe is in “Eggstasy”! The final chapter was fantastic and epic.

It’s the eyes. They are freakishly huge. Though I admit she looks less creepy in motion with the sounds and all. Still, not a fan of the design. It’s Rox all over again.

Well yeah that thing looks like it was designed by somebody who read that definition, but did not have seen a cute creature themself before.

It’s the textures that make that thing look a little off. It looks… like a wooden puppet painted blue and adorned with crystals.

The dragon’s design is horrid. It’s “cute” – I’ll give you that but my question is this: Was it really supposed to be cute?

The way it looks ruins immersion for me – it looks more like a pet than something that’s central to the plot.

Also – it looks creepy with those eyes – just like more Asura and especially Rox. Big eyes do not make things better. I wish whoever designs these things would get it.

It also looks NOTHING like Glint or the original Baby Dragon you defend in GW1. It’s not spiky – doesn’t have sharp bits. It looks like a chibi fan-service of what Glint might look like in a goofy spin-off.

First of all, it has crystals because of glint. BUT, it also looks a lot like mordrem-esque skin because of the power it absorbed at the end of HoT! the rest is adorable.

Ya from what we learned in Episode 2 it is a effect of absorbing another Elder Dragon’s power.

A guildie of mine noticed that the head shape is the same as that of the Mouth of Mordremoth. If you look in profile I think she’s right. So that explosion of energy from Mordy’s death that hit the egg might have affected the hatched appearance?

Makes you curious how the other Elder Dragons are affected.

We now know each Elder Dragon can absorb the powers of a dead Elder Dragon due to absorbing their “Element” of Magical Energy. This results in not only giving the Elder Dragon’s new powers related to that Dead Elder Dragon’s power but also changes the the form and abilities of their minions.

Her parents would have been proud.

I was going to say that Rox was the other parent, but… now that you mention it, that’s exactly what she looks like.

My second run-through of the story was in a guild group. At the end one of us who was on his first run belted out “COME ON AURENE!” and declared it was her theme song now. So I, um … did this:
