Q:
I’m usually typing on my phone
Q:
While waiting for the Shadow Behemoth, I figured I’d visit nostalgia central, and went to the ruins of the Temple of Ages.
Maybe I overlooked it, but the Statue of Balthazar was missing when I was there (I’ve circled this place 3 times while waiting for SB)
There was also a statue of Kormir there, but I figured the Krytans put it up after they realized she became a God(des).
Can someone point me to the right direction, or explain to me (why/if) it’s absent?
A:
It is indeed absent. So is Lyssa’s. It’s not explained why but given how three of them are not only submerged but half-buried, I’m betting Balthazar and Lyssa’s statues are fully buried.
Ahh thank you
Was wondering whether or not I had blind spots on my screen
Although, I was really excited to see GW1 God statues in GW2 graphics (Balthazar and Lyssa to be specific)
You can find a GW1 Balthazar statue at Dead God’s Lair in Plains of Ashford. Pretty sure there are others too, but not sure where. Same with Lyssa.
I checked for the statues shortly after launch. Of the five statues of Lyssa on Tyria, three are gone (the ToA one, which could’ve been buried, and two in Ascalon, which may have been removed by the charr) and two are in regions we can’t yet access. Balthazar’s slightly better- ToA statue gone, Old Ascalon statue still intact, Majesty’s Rest and The Falls statues inaccessible.
