Guild Wars 2

I came across this NPC in Lornar’s Pass today and it really intrigued me. He’ll spawn when a player nearby has looted a gear crank from a mob. Then he uses it to unlock a great power sealed in the ice, in this small cavern with a frozen waterfall and the entrance has two green dragon statues. The ‘great power’ turns out to be a fleshreaver, which you must kill and then fight off waves of more felshreavers as Dremus tries to seal the ice.

Any idea what this place is, where the fleshreavers came from, etc would be appreciated!

Me and a guildie was really interested in this a while back. We sqoured the area, even allowed the defend event to fail. We got nothing other than the area being an ancient prison built by the dwarves using magic and mechanisms.

Very sad.

ah, my bad was just reading off the wiki since I can’t seem to find the crank
