Subdirector NULL boss is Blingg's Golem
I think there’s no doubt. However, there is doubt on how is he modifying it? Does he have an asura partner? Does he have extensive knowledge of golemancy? How? Why? Can he use his “plants” on it and control it somehow?
My guess is that since he is linked to the Molten Alliance he could very well be using their craftsmen to make it into something monstrous.
It amazes me that they try to make a bad*ss out of Canach, when he was clearly none the last time we met him. Well it’s pretty ridiculous to make “cool” Sylvari in the first place, they are freaking salad people, who would ever be frozen in awe when an oversized cucumber threatens you… but that’s just my opinion I guess.
Anyway, I don’t really get what you are speculating on, that Blingg’s golem is Noll’s boss? What? The way I understand the story, Canach will use the golem to get close to Noll, similar to a trojan horse, he will hide inside it.

It’s in reference to the achievement of the same name. Please do research before commenting. Thanks.
Oh yeah I forgot that the thing was called Null. Yeah that’s actually pretty obvious and not much of a thing you need to make a thread about.
@BuddhaKeks: NULL, not Noll. One’s a golem, the other’s an asura.
And running for your life can turn folks from rude to “bad*ss” as you put it. Though I’d call it “merciless” which he was more or less from the beginning.
(Edit: And you ninja’d me)
I’m now wondering if the golem was that “huge machine” that the Molten Alliance was building. Or rather, modifying.
Stop treating GW2 as a single story. Each Season and expansion should be their own story.

A dev actually posted in another thread about Canach. Apparently he got his gauntlets in a similar fashion to our players.. Raiding a Molten Allaince base. It seems that he has, in his mind, been trying to reinvent himself as some type of protector of the weak as his self image. He sounds like a guy who is very egotistical.
To me it sounds mostly like hes mainly after revenge. Ive started to think that this episode may not infact have any connection the the Nemesis and Im actually ok with thakittens not like they have to turn up everywhere we go. I suspect it will be the Kasmeer investigation thread that will lead us back to whats happening with the shadowy workings of our Nemesis.
As for the ‘huge machine’ the Molten Alliance was building ie. the KOM-PEW-something, that was the first ‘boss’ of the Molten Facility. That hole set up was a weapons testing device and in a live stream a dev even refered to it as a primative computer. Thats why we had the coolent rooms behind it and the overheating core we had to destroy.
Thread Lutinz mentions: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/livingworld/southsun/Canach-s-Mutation-Radical-Change in case anyone interested.

Yeah, that revelation really surprised me. It would been handy to have a 3rd NPC along with Braham and Rox to take on the enemies in the Molten Facility. XD

It would have made an interesting lead-up, too. The situation is already looking to be one where ultimately the PCs are going to have to help the Consortium when they might rather side with Canach and the refugees he’s trying (however extreme his methods) to help – the story could have been that much deeper if we’d had Canach show up on a raid and had a chance to fight beside him before he became an antagonist.
People don’t hate Scarlet like Game of Thrones fans hate Joffrey.
They hate her the way Star Wars fans hate Jar Jar Binks.
