As the Sylvari when they awaken get a portion of the previous Sylvari’s experiences, so that they know things like reading and writing and so on. Wouldn’t they be a bit of a problem for any organisation that likes to keep secrets? such as the Order of Whispers, or perhaps if one was working for Caudecus or even the Queen ect. I mean what would happen if a sylvari awoke with the knowledge of where the Chantry of Secrets is? I mean the consequences could be pretty bad if the knowledge was used well…

nope. that question is fairly common, and i’m pretty sure ghosts of ascalon answers it (and maybe the game too).

basically, the dream is very vague and doesn’t give them specific things so much as general concepts. to use the example from the book, they know what a moa is, they know what it’s supposed to taste like, but they won’t know until they try it themselves.

it’s more broad strokes of general knowledge and experiences, and less hive-mind.

they wouldn’t be able to even if the dream worked the way you thought it did.

after waking from the dream, the connection is (pretty much) one-way. the sylvaris can feel connected to the dream, but they can’t “access information” within it.

What about the eye of Zhaitan? I thought it could see in a Sylvari’s dream.

The Eye of Zhaitan was a powerful mesmer. It’s possible that the mesmer ability to intrude upon minds allowed it to see what the captured sylvari saw before she awakened, but iirc nothing implied that it was able to do more than read her memories of her own Dream.
