The Asuran Room: Great Mystery of Ebonhawk
Awesome find!
I’ll take a look at the text and see if I can translate anything in the next few days.
Very cool perhaps will have something to do with future content leading to Crystal Desert? Anything having to do with Ebonhawk screams “Crystal Desert Incoming” to me ^__^
Could it have anything to do with the guy from GoA? I don’t remember specifics but he was an asura in Ebonhawke, perhaps his krewe decided to take over his lab space or something
Hey everyone! I can help you with the writings on the floor. You can find that type of writing almost everywhere you can find Asuran tech, its on walls, floors, ceilings, flying cubes and cannons. I’ve screenshotted a bunch of them and found out it always says the same message. You can find my complete translation of this asuran and many other things here : http://www.chroniclesoftyria.com/2012/08/29/history-of-the-asuras/
^There was an asura named Kranxx that worked with the Vigil and had a lab in Ebonhawke. I believe he destroyed most of his lab to provide a distraction when the group slipped out of the fortress though. His krewe may have moved in and rebuilt a bit of it.
Well there’s a area in Ebonhawke northeast of The Hawke Heart that looks like it might have been blown up, though it’s unclear whether this was just a random point or if it was Kranxx’s lab.
That text is present in almost every asura lab. That asura lab in Ebonhawke isn’t very special – and obviously they’d want to keep interlopers out when they’re busy.
@Warrior Of Asgard: That blown up section was done by siege weaponry, according to the NPCs there. They had quickly done fixing on it, but with the cease fire they’re now rebuilding it to be more solid.
Stop treating GW2 as a single story. Each Season and expansion should be their own story.

Well that makes more sense. I hadn’t noticed any npcs last time I was there.
Awesome find!
Thanks! I love exploring the game world there are so many little details to find.

I love the lore forums.

There is a door in there that leads to an area off map. That’s also the area where a little girl says she saw a Charr run from and then vanish in a field.

It makes sense that they would at least some what be connected.

Interesting. It looks like it was actually hit by siege but it would make sense if they set up a temporary lab elsewhere while rebuilding it.

Extremely helpful! Thanks for your hard work! Super cool, I never noticed that it was everywhere.
I love when the lore forums are positive and helpful. Asura have a really cool culture. I guess their text have less of a chance to be lost if it’s literally on everything.
