This is how I feel the expansions may play out.

1. With zhaitan dead and his blockade fleet leading up to Cantha destroyed, we have the opening to go up there. Now we need the Empire to open its borders. Why would they do that? Because they need help. From what? The sea elder dragon. I think the sea elder dragon may be the major enemy in the Cantha expansion that we will fight or atleast that will allow Canthas borders to be opened.

2. Elona- Eventually we are going to go fight Kralk and re open the way into Elona. Now the main enemy in Elona might be Palawa Joko. Now Joko’s origins are unknown. He could have come before the arrival of the six gods, or he could not have. I believe he may have a connection to Dhuum. You have to ask where Joko gets his power, and this is all i can really think of or maybe zhaitan. So it could be interesting to see if we help him fight kralk, or maybe we kill kralk in some dungeon and then move on to him.

3. The next king of Ascalon. After reading through the lore, it talks about how the ghost of Ascalon wont rest until the next true king returns with the sword Magdaer or the brother sword. Who has this sword? Logan. Who is from Ascalon? Logan. So I’m not sure how they will include this, but it could be interesting.

4. Then we have the north part of the map and Jormag. There is a blocked part in the northern part of Frostgorge Sound that makes it seem obvious that they will eventually allow us to go in.

You forgot Primordius. Also, Logan isnt a descendant of King Doric, though there are two people alive you are. One is in ebonhawke, but I forget who the other is.

Is Queen Jennah NOT a descendent of King Doric? I thought the kings of Kryta shared Doric’s bloodline.

Sarcasm is weak with this one…

In all seriousness the two heirs to Ascalon are Jennah and Commander Samuelsson.

You know that it’s more likely – given the appearance of krait, karka, largos, and quaggan – that the DSD is closer to Tyria than to Cantha right? Or at the very least, is as big of a threat to continental Tyria as to Cantha. The only threat to Cantha the DSD poses would be sea trade which would be equal for all continents.

Furthermore, I’m fairly certain Joko is human (or rather, was). Ignoring height which is rather messy thanks to mechanics and we already have at least 5 other ten-foot tall humans in GW1 (let alone in GW2…).

The thing about Sohothin or Magdaer being in the hands of the rightful heir of Ascalon is a legend and may not be true. But Jennah and Wade Sammuelsson hold a much stronger chance at being candidates than Logan, given their geneology’s proven to tie to King Doric – and of the two, Wade moreso, given he’s both the commander of the Ebon Vanguard and the Duke of Ebonhawke.

Dear ANet writers,
Stop treating GW2 as a single story. Each Season and expansion should be their own story.

I’m holding out for Samuelsson, personally – I’m not sure that Jennah saving Ascalon would help the Ebonhawke situation that much, since I can’t help but feel that Ebonhawkers would continue to resent her sweeping in and taking over their affairs (their ancestors’ business for hundred of years!). Samuelsson is of Ebonhawke, thus a real Ascalonian human in some sense; he has the best chance of leading a change that might heal grievances.

Yeah I didnt know about those two. I was also walking around in Orr today and saw an NPC say something i’ven ever seen him saw at the town near the ending of plinx.

It was a response to another npc, but i didnt see what the first npc said.

“Save some for the svanir! Let them know they’re next!”. These were pact npcs…

Now i dont know if thats been added recently. But if they do a content update in jan that has us up against the svanir and maybe jormag, it could go with the season.

They did say that the content updates for January and February together will be the size of a standard expansion. Given the huge amount of hints to Jormag being the second Elder Dragon we’ll face (aside from that line, Drakkar Spurs, there’s the Honor of the Waves explorable ending dialogue which always has the Honor’s Claw talking about a shadow in the north threatening everyone; then there’s Havroun Grechin in the personal storyline saying many norn expect Jormag to be next after Zhaitan – and in overall activity, Jormag’s the most active after Zhaitan), I wouldn’t doubt that both will be focused on the Far Shiverpeaks and Jormag.
