Could the purpose of the Tower not to be the hybrid but the cloak cast on tower. Possibly to hide a group from elder dragons like Glint did in the past? To power such a device the lay lines might be used?

And from Molten Alliance the computer machine? And from Aetherblades a generator to power it all?

But wouldn’t magic eating Dragons find leylines and by following them, the huge magical cloak/shield?

It might be a little like trying to hide between hamburger buns to avoid being eaten, right?

Would explain all the alliances too merging technology to save there race from dragons. Also to face united pack forces.

I heard somewhere – now I can no longer recall where – but the MA’s ‘computer’ was the boss in Molten Facility at the weapons testing event. The Thermal Core that you destroyed, destroyed the computer.

I doubt that such a thing would be used to avoid detection from the Elder Dragons.

I do have to admit that of all the things I had thought to be Scarlet’s plan for the tower, the veil had never really entered my mind, but it could be a very powerful tool. Especially if it could be mobilized.

The best theory I’ve ever heard on Scarlett is that her goal is to create a Chaos reactor, like Thaumanova in Metrica Province or the Infinity Coil in Mt. Maelstrum, and use it to mutate the Pale Tree and free all Sylvari from the influence of the Dream.

That still doesn’t explain why she is sending toxic seeds all over the world though. The theory I heard said the sprouts were imbued with magic, but I don’t know if that’s still plausible.

Reactors used for 2 things research and generating power. So then if she makes reactor. What is she researching? Or what does she need power for? I think she is in the implementation part of her plan though. So I think question is what does she need all that power for. And we never got an answer on what powered that clock spell. Even Mesmer’s have to sleep some time. And the scale was unbelievable.
