Q:
Description of Question :
In meteorlogicus, the scepter legendary, you see three planet masses. One, is what looks like a water based planet. It is light blue in coloration with clouds. The second, is a large rock-like planet. The third, is a dark blue planet (water), and has green land masses.
It’s this third planet I believe to be Tyria (this is due to the scepter being based off an orrery and I can’t see why a Tyrian orrery scepter wouldn’t have Tyria).
Now if you actually look at the planet, it has three moons. One, the slowest moving and the largest, is the moon I believe we see all the time. However, there’s two quicker moving moons that rotate around the planet.
My Question :
My question is in two parts.
Are there three moons?
If so,
Will we ever see more than one in game?

There is no indication that meteorlogicus is even accurate (especially given the shape), let alone is meant to be about Tyria and its satellites (natural or otherwise).
There’s never been more than one even mentioned – be it seen or talked about. So it seems there’s only one moon.
Earth has two natural moons, yet we only ever see one.
Earth has two natural moons, yet we only ever see one.
Actually, the Moon is Earths only proven natural satellite.
There are plenty of quasi-satellites, but no other bodies you could actually scientifically refer to as a moon.
I’d be inclined to say Tyria only has one moon, we’ve only ever seen one and we have had plenty of nighttime scenes from different parts of Tyria.
Well it is possible that there’re two moons – and they’re on complete opposite sides of Tyria, rotating in the same or nearly the same path.

In reality, I don’t think that’s entirely plausible.
In fantasy, it makes completely perfect sense and now I need to see about selling some asura on this theory to travel to the “second moon of Tyria”.

This is virtually impossible according to physics. Such a resonation makes for a very unstable orbit. For the same reason it’s impossible for an “anti-earth” to exist on the opposite side of the sun. It is a theory that pops up often in layman’s brains though it doesn’t have any scientific merit.

I don’t want to pull the cop out ’It’s fantasy’ but at the same time…
Seriously dude. There’s no indication that real world physics play the same role in Tyria that they do on Earth. Yes, gravity exists but we don’t know the weight of anything so who can say whether it’s on the same scale as the real world? Also, MAGIC. Maybe the second/third/seventh moon is actually a bloodstone (/tinfoil).
Obviously this couldn’t work in the real world. But in Tyria? It might.
The moon is referred to as “Melandru’s moon” by Canthans and is highly revered by Luxons. Wouldn’t surprise me if it were magical in some means.
I think there’s at least a second moon with a scary face that can only be seen around Halloween.
Afaik, that’s just Thorn’s magic altering how we see the moon.
Go to Divinity’s Reach’s central gardens and look up for a good idea of how the solar system is laid out.

Physics law don’t have any power in the world of Guild Wars. Just look the fractals
I was sitting in Tyria minding my own buisness, thinking about 3 moons and stuff, when suddenly physics came up to me, but I was like:

I believe he/she was refering to Cruithne, which have been believed to be our second moon. It have been proven incorrect though as Cruithne does not orbit earth. But it is brought up in QI (british tv show), otherwise I would not know about it at all.
I suppose it is plausible for Tyria to have more than one moon, however nothing in lore says anything about it. I would not count on it.
The moons are dragon eggs. They cracked and opened up dragons and let loose into Tyria.
It is known.

Fractals is within the Mists. Tyria is not.
Tyria is affected by physics, but magic can help defy it.
I would presume physics are valid unless tampered with.
Furthermore, an “anti-moon” would be visible at daytime, which it is not. Ergo, this so-called hypothesis is not valid.
Unless the anti-moon is covered with stealth magic. Also, I have an invisible pink unicorn in my backyard.
Perhaps you can get him to have a play date with King Thorn’s invisible pony

Haha, then suddenly this teacher came up and talked about physics regardless of the setting being fantasy.
At a cursory glance, the planet on meteorologicus does not appear to share any obvious geographical similarities with the known maps of tyria:
