Hi Guys
If you are a fan of Guild Wars series, I suggest you to check the assembly of past/present areas of Guild Wars 1 and Guild Wars 2 that I made.
Feel free you add screenshots !

Pretty neat. Really shows how things changed. Some spelling mistakes, like “wich” instead of “which”, not sure if you care though, lol. Are there other areas you could add in a second set of screens?
Oh thanks for the hint ^^
I’ll try to work on this.
pretty nice change from the usual comparison pictures we get. would like to see more if you’re up to the task.
^ What he said. +1 to you OP.
Not mine, but this blog pretty much show how every place in Tyria changed between GW and GW2, it feels very nostalgic seeing it side by side.

I LOVE these! Thanks for sharing. :-)
I still remember the giant pink/purple crystal in the first zone of GW< found it in GW2 got me all a-fuzzy.
Actually, The Temple of Ages shot is wrong, since in GW2 a statue of Kormir has replaced the Lyssa statue (and the balth statue is gone too someone tell me why).
I wish we could go see the Lyssa Shrine up in the shiver peaks….
That being said, I was very happy to see that Melandrus Shrine was still standing =D
As someone who didn’t play GW1 but loves the lore of Tyria and learning about GW (I’d play if I had the time), this is awesome! Thanks, and you should keep it up!
Great work LostTemplar! Bringing back the feels.

it’s not wrong, he took a picture of the right spot on the past and present. it’s showcasing the changes that happened on 250 years.

Yes, “wrong” was an incorrect word choice, sorry for my english.
very awesome. I love the comparisons like these. It’s very easy to skip over them.
I remember something one having done something similar:

This is amazing, and also made me very sad. All that time spent in Gw1 Tyria and now seeing the beauty of the gods in ruins….. :’(
(P.S. I really wish they would have the gods return to Tyria, the pantheon was one of my favorite aspects of GW1. Now our power just seems to stem from who knows where.)

I wish that the Priory would start giving us stuff to do with restoring those places fallen into ruin like the statues, a few artefacts and stuff like that. They could put some events that have to do with restoring stuff or a living world update that makes us restore ruins. Somewhere along those lines.
