Going up the cliffs up to the Zephyr Sanctum, you see an Unusual Merchant with a few items next to her.

Most of them are just random crap.
But there are a few interesting ones.

There is one that looks like a Mursaat Artifact.
There is another, a Human skeleton, with 7 toes.
There is also a broken mask, that when interacted with, and put together, spawns a Champion Corrupted Ogre.

Also, one of the unusual Merchant, towards the top when asked if you can buy one of her items, she says she can’t, because she has been warned and then ends the conversation.

Hopefully we get some more info on her/her items.

The Mursaatish looking thing and the Merchant near the tops dialogue did really strike me as odd.

Yeah, first thing I noticed and was a bit shocked :o

They seem to be rather used to the powerful items.
One warned in a bored voice not to mess with them and then we released a fire imp.

I lol’d at her dialogue, but I think that is as much a homage to the fact that the dev’s expect the event to trigger hundreds and hundreds of times so it would hardly be shocking for the NPC to witness it over and over again and expect people to touch it.

I thought the skeleton was just a reference to Lost and that 4 toed statue that never really meant anything, maybe not but its what I thought of when I saw it anyway

Well it isn’t a Mursaat skeleton that’s for sure. They only have three toes

So those unusual merchants are just selling crap and passing them off as “artifacts”.

Some of what they have is potentially harmful, obviously with the amount of DE’s there with merchandise gone wrong. What I am saying is, the item that we see is just the re-use of a skin that we already see in game. So seeing it in another places doesn’t necessarily mean that there’s a connection, though there quite possibly could be.
