Urban Dragons
I think I saw one once flying around in a 40-50 zone. Was way up in the sky.
Sorry, have not gotten that far, but still! Wouldn’t it be kinda logical to burn for example the Divinity’s Reach farmlands?
I guess… they are not in a hurry?
My guess is, they just aren’t as active since they “just” woke up from such a long sleep.
The massive ones like Kralkatorrik probably need a lot of energy to move around too.
They Have all the time of the world, they just consume the world slowely, remember, ED don’t think! Kralkatorik probaply didn’t want the Brand to happen, it just happend when he flew south
I guess they just don´t bother with minor tasks like that. If they want to destroy the farm they can send an army of their minions. All dragons i´ve seen in game where champions of the elder dragons or Zhaitan himself. I don´t think someone with such a high rank would attack a farm if he can focus on controlling an entire zone.
There’s this dragon “The Shatterer” which is a champion of Krallkatorik and who flies over the dragonbrand in Bladgeridge Steppes (lvl 40-50) and there’s even an event where you have to kill it which occurs every 3 hours after the defeat of The Shatterer.
Awesome! But still, ruining the food supply for one of the major cities does seem (to me) like a pretty achieving task even for a dragon. Thank you for the lovely responses:)

I see someone else has played Choice of the Dragon.

Haha, I just googled what that was, might download that app – looks like a laugh. Thanks:)
Well it certainly is an achieving task. However u dont need a dragons power to achieve it. Let´s take Zhaitan and his undead dragons for an example, of course he could send a dragon but why shpuld he if he can send 200 disposable zombies. If he happens to lose one dragon it would hurt his army more than those 200 zombies which he can just restore from their victims bodies. That said I don´t actually know how the lesser dragons come to life so I might be wrong here
I think Zhaitan’s dragon servants are still undead, so he killed or had a servant kill them to turn them into servants themselves. They just happen to be ranked higher than other lesser species in his army.
I think if you consider the Giganticus Lupis or whatever it’s called in the dungeon Arah (explorable) then you’ll realize he’s had these slaves/lieutenants for a long time, and they were just asleep with him.

My guess is that we really arnt that important to them. I dont think they have seriously considered any of the races really major threats till recently. Their champions usually take the role of expansion and removal of threats. We are like weeds in the back of the yard that they will get one of their kids to burn out at some point once they have finished with their other chores. I dont think any of the Elder Dragons seriously expected us to kill one of them.
If Zhaitain is anything to go by, the elder dragons, when cornered, and without support can be taken down by a fairly small force. I doubt they are too keen on risking their own hides in battle.
If you look around the map, you can see that their armies have actually laid waste to some fairly large areas.
I might of missed out on some dialogue text somewhere that answer my question but I have been wondering about this,
why do we not see any dragons flying around burning up the place, burning some stuff, eliminating some races and other mundane dragon tasks? As it would seem they are fully capable of destroying and dominating terrain, so except for the obvious gameplay issues (possibly technical or other too) why don’t they?
Dragons and their minions may be tough, but it’s too risky just flying into enemy lands. We good guys have them bows. And ballistae. And freakin’ lazers mounted on airships.
