What's next to the moon?
To clarify, is it next to the moon in multiple zones (ex. Brisban Wildlands and other areas), or one specific zone but seen from everywhere within said zone?
I saw this all over Queensdale last night, but I haven’t checked whether or not you can see it from multiple zones. If that answers your question.

Alright I’ll look into it, though without any other information we can really only speculate at this point, even if it’s seen everywhere.
You’re referring to the smoke-like thing just beneath the moon and to the right in the picture, correct?
From the image alone it looks just like thicker clouds to me. But if it’s there constantly… that’s unlikely.
I doubt that it’s the “formation of a star” from the jotun telescope, however. That’d be leading to a massive game spoiler unless its only shown on characters who did that/beat Zhaitan.

The Queensdale perspective of the moon has had that look since before the game’s official release. If it is significant, then it’s been right above us all along. :O
