Do they get it when they become a man/women? Is there a celebration party when one gets their tattoo? Where did they get one? I never seen any tattoos shop in Norn city or maybe it is done by family members…i wanna know x.x
It seem like an important part of the culture for Norn to get tattoo. Braham was 17 and it doesnt seem like he have any tattoo yet. I know there option for no tattoo when you make a Norn character…so i wonder if its a big deal to not have one. Would the other Norns think of you as a child if you dont have one?

There is no known lore bout norn tatoo’s as far as I know it. I think it is part of their way of life to take one, but it is not a must. Many norns cary one, but some do not. they are showing off age. e.g. Sigfast (whitebears sun) doesnt show signs of a tattoo and is still considered important.

So bottom line. A norn tattoo is like real life tattoo’s. They are important for the person who has them, not for anyone else.
