I loved both Ghost of Ascalon and Edge of Destiny, when will the third be released?

..hopefully it will even be more books out in the future :-)

Good question, although I cannot afford the book now either way.

Amazon and Barnes & Noble both currently list the release date as June 25th 2013, but the date has changed several times, so treat it as approximate rather than set in stone.

I’m excited for the book too.

Ghosts was a pretty well done book, although I hope they make the writing a bit more mature for the new book unlike what it was in Edge of Destiny.

It’s going to be called “Sea of Sorrows”, my guess it is going to be the cleaning of Orr and the rest of the Sea of Sorrows. This means they might want to wait awhile and let a majority of the players beat the story-line first before they release it. Also I remember someone asked Ree in an interview how far is she in the writing process of the book, I believe she said she was over half way done. (That was a year or more ago.)

From everything I’ve heard, it sounds like it’s actually supposed to be about Zhaitan’s awakening.

The first draft is apparently done and being edited, so I don’t think they’re holding off the release deliberately.

Wrong. “The plot will focus on Zhaitan’s awakening and the effects it has on Tyria, including the flooding of Lion’s Arch. It will begin with the sinking of Lion’s Arch while the main character is on a ship heading to Arah, and follows the main character as he meets other races and helps rebuild Lion’s Arch for all races.”
My guess is it might feature someone very important to the rebuilding of Lion’s Arch, possibly Cobiah Marriner himself or someone close to him.

Cool, thanks for the information. I didn’t know much about it, just speculation with the name of the title.
